Been a while since I updated this, few things have changed.
Project hasn't been touched for a while... Even considered selling it but I don't want to.
Here how it looks pushed out the garage, really need to put a few hours in and get more work done!

Planned road ahead
Do you think your life is set out in front of you...
I wonder if you have a set purpose or meaning in life. Did you ever wonder what you would do as a kid? How many of us are doing what we thought!?

Randomness
Ok so random thought. The guy who invented the pneumatic tyre was the same guy who invented the wankel engine (rotary engine).
Got more done on the project, I smoothed off the back panel and have acquired some retro lights... It's gonna look very cool!
Here's an progress picture

Damn sickness
So today I'm not doing so good. I think I have some kind of viral infection. My toncils are shot, and my sinus is crazy!
Might not get anything done today, although I do fancy cleaning my good lady's car...
We shall see how the day ends up!

Randomness
Not working on the car today... Worked overtime this morning till 12. Why do I work for such crap wages... I wish I could do something better with my career, spent years at school and college to become a graphic designer and I now valet cars... For a crap wage might I add.
Rant over. Going to take a drive to the trossachs with the mrs and kids see if we can have a nice time. Might even take a picture or two.

Friday 1st June 2012.
Hi, My name is Nick I have started this blog to mainly track progress on my ongoing project but along the way I will be adding in my thoughts about life and everything in it.
So come on in kick back and get comfy...
Well My project is a 1988 mini based kit car called a Kingfisher Sprint. lots of people ask what it is well it was a kit car made from fibreglass, and was designed by a man called Roger King. He used to mad about classic minis bit like myself, and after lots of tinkering with his and others minis decided to buy a Mini Jem, which was another mini based kit car readily available at the time. Over time he added bits to it and tried to improve it, after a long story decided to make his own kit car and came up with the Kingfisher. There were only 34 bodyshell's ever produced, some of which would never have seen the road but luckily mine did and after it sitting for a period of time without getting any attention and love. I bought it with the intention of breathing new life into it and making it roadworthy once more.
Here is a picture of the little car when I first went to view the car.
It had at that time 13inch revolution wheels and a 1293cc engine. But a deal was struck to take the car without the engine and wheels, as the previous owner had plans for them.
Random thought....
You might think I am crazy here but is there a human condition which you have a huge amount of interest in a certain thing and lots of great intentions but you never seem to see them through to the end?
Im really bad for buying old cars like this and not ever getting them finished. I have over the space of about 6 years bought about 5 projects and each have been sold off before I could finish them to fund other things going on in my life at that time. I do hope I get this one done...
So a few months have passed since I bought the car and at first it was thought it would only need a few things to get it running again but I couldn't have been more wrong. the car as it stands is in my garage and has had everything stripped off the fibreglass shell and is now being slowly worked on to get ready for paint and a rebuild.
Heres a picture...
So lots more to do then...
Ill update on here as much as I can, it wont be all car nonsense but it will be mostly, maybe the odd rant and observation. Feel free to contact me if anything is interesting enough.
Thanks for reading.
